Editorial Policy
How we research, write, and maintain content on Cafune France.
Independence
Cafune France is an independent editorial publication. We are not affiliated with the French government, Atout France, regional tourism boards, or any official institution. Nothing on this site should be read as authoritative government guidance.
How Content Is Created
Articles are written specifically for this website. Writers consult public sources — museum websites, institutional publications, UNESCO listings, transport operators, and established reference works — to verify factual claims. We do not reproduce copyrighted text from other publishers.
Bylines appear as Cafune France Editorial. We do not invent individual author personas or credentials.
Accuracy and Corrections
We aim for accuracy in dates, geography, cultural descriptions, and practical information. Travel conditions change; opening hours shift; transport schedules update. Where information may be time-sensitive, we try to say so rather than present it as permanent fact.
Readers who identify errors should contact us via the contact page. Verified corrections are made promptly. Significant revisions may be noted within the article.
No Fabricated Experience
We do not publish fake restaurant reviews, invented statistics, fabricated testimonials, or misleading "official" claims. We do not create doorway pages or mass-produced location content designed solely for search rankings.
Commercial Relationships
At present, Cafune France does not run display advertising or sponsored content. If that changes, sponsored material will be clearly labeled and this policy will be updated. Affiliate links, if ever used, will be disclosed at the point of use.
Images
Photographs on this site are stored locally and sourced from Wikimedia Commons under licenses that permit republication (CC0, CC BY-SA, and similar). Each image shows a real place, dish, or scene relevant to the article — for example, Mont-Saint-Michel for Normandy, Colmar for Alsace, or baguettes from an actual French boulangerie. Author attribution and license details are recorded in the project’s image credits documentation. We do not use copyrighted photographs without permission.
Artificial Intelligence
Content is edited for clarity, accuracy, and readability. Our standard is that published work should read as careful human editorial writing regardless of tools used in drafting or research.
